ACTIVE DAMPING OF OSCILLATIONS IN A CONTROL PROCESS

There is provided mechanisms for actively damping oscillations in a compression process. A method is performed by a controller. The method comprises acquiring process data from a compression process. The method comprises performing oscillation frequency estimation of any detected oscillations in the process data. The method comprises generating a damping signal based on the oscillation frequency estimation. The method comprises providing the damping signal to an electrical drive of the compression process.
