PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and highly accurate ultrasonic probe and the manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe is provided with a transducer 1 for mutually transducing ultrasonic waves and electric signals, a frame 4 for rotatably holding the transducer 1, a pulley 5 provided on the transducer 1 for rotating the transducer 1, a driving wheel 9 provided on a position separated from the pulley 5, a belt 10 wound to the pulley 5 and the driving wheel 9 and an electromagnetic motor 6 provided on the driving wheel 9 for rotating the driving wheel 9.
