PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide unit stairs in which the sufficient joint strength of each tread section and stringers are ensured by simple assembly works. SOLUTION: The unit stairs 1 are composed of a pair of the mutually opposed stringers 2 and 2 and a plurality of tread members 3, 3 and the like, and each stringer has supporting sections 4 projected to the inside respectively, and the tread members are fixed onto the side girders by fastening means 13 and 13 inserted from the outsides of the side girders under the state that parts of each tread member are placed on the supporting sections.
