SOLUTION: Data related to the present position and the destination is determined as data (A) related to the present running route for the vehicle 3. Traffic information data related to one traffic network is supplied from a central traffic information data storage device 11. The supplied traffic data is utilized so as to determine a running route in a traffic network between the present position and the destination. Data related to the determined running route and data related to the present running route are utilized by the automobile driver. In this case, the data related to the present running route is transmitted from the automobile 3 to the central traffic network information data storage device 11, and traffic network information data (A) related to the present running route is supplied from the central traffic information data storage device 11 to the automobile 3 as a response to the transmission of the data.
