The media flow separator has a flow guide body (2) and ratchet locks (3,4) to secure it in the wall of the motor intake channel. The flow guide body is a bent and rectangular plate section, with shaped ratchet locks as projecting tabs and a locking ring. The unit is located near the outlet opening of the exhaust gas channel.
