PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development having developing maintainability and excellent cleaning property.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic charge image development comprises: toner particles; and an external additive. The toner particle is manufactured through an aggregated particle forming step of forming aggregated particles by aggregating resin particles in a material dispersion solution having at least the resin particles dispersed therein, and fusing and uniting step of forming the toner particles by heating an aggregated particle dispersion solution having the aggregated particles dispersed therein to fuse and unite the aggregated particles. The external additive is silica particles that have the average diameter of 100 nm or more and 500 nm or less, the average circularity of 0.5 or more and 0.85 or less, and the average value of a ratio of the equivalent circle diameter Da obtained by planar image analysis relative to the maximum height H obtained by stereoscopic image analysis is more than 1.5 and less than 1.9. |
