Provided are a liquid feed device and an image-recording device with which the effects of temperature changes can be eliminated, and stable pressure control carried out. In these devices, a pressure adjustment means is provided between a liquid ejection head and a pump, the pressure adjustment means having: a liquid chamber that communicates with a liquid flow passage through a flow duct; a first air chamber in which air is retained; a first elastic film that divides the liquid chamber from the first air chamber; and a switching means for switching the first air chamber to either an open state or a closed state. The switching means initializes the shape of the first elastic film by switching the first air chamber to the closed state from a state in which the first air chamber is open, and the pressure of the liquid in the liquid flow passage is at equilibrium with the pressure of the air in the first air chamber. Thereafter, in the event that the difference between the temperature of the first air chamber during initialization of the shape of the first elastic film and the temperature of the first air chamber measured by a temperature sensor equals or exceeds a threshold value, the shape of the first elastic film is initialized again. |
