PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective sheet with excellent heat resistance property, flexibility and transparency which is especially suitable as a polarizing plate protecting sheet to be used with a polarizing plate.SOLUTION: A protective sheet in this invention has a sea-island structure, and has a matrix phase containing a heat resistant acrylic resin as its main polymer and a disperse phase containing an acrylic rubber as its main polymer. The refractive index difference between the matrix and the disperse phases is 0.01 or less, and the average particle diameter of the disperse phase is 1 nm or more and less than 50 nm. It is preferred that the protective sheet is used as a polarizing plate protecting sheet attached to a sheet polarizer on an adhesive layer on the both sides of the sheet polarizer. |
