PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a docking station capable of reducing force required for a laptop PC insertion/removal operation.SOLUTION: A docking connector includes: chip capacitors 40 each formed in a block shape and having electrodes 402 and 403 exposed on both end surfaces; a housing 10 including openings 102 for accommodating the chip capacitors 40 therein and storage chambers 101 provided so as to connect with the openings 102; contacts 30 embedded in the housing 10 and each including a connection part 302 connected with the electrode 403 disposed on a side of the chip capacitor 40 opposite to the opening 102 and a mounting part 301 exposed from a surface of the housing 10 connected to the connection part 302; and covers 20 for closing the openings 102. The covers 20 each include a flat, elastic electrode 20a and connection means for connecting the electrode 402 of the chip capacitor 40 to the electrode 20a. |
