PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm rest structure for a door trim that can promptly respond to deformation movement of a door inner panel to a cabin interior side caused by a side collision of a vehicle and thus can separate an arm rest upper portion upwards.SOLUTION: At the time of a side collision of a vehicle, etc., when a pressure receiving pressing piece 12 of separation means 10 receives an impact load F due to deformation movement of a door inner panel 21 to the cabin interior side, the pressure receiving pressing piece 12 is elastically deformed to the inner side in the vehicle width direction. Due to this, the pressure receiving pressing piece 12 is brought into sliding contact with a bottom corner portion 7a on the outer side in the vehicle width direction of a recessed portion 7, and at the same time, the pressing causes a bottom corner portion 7a on the inner side in the vehicle width direction to come into sliding contact with an inclined wall 14. The mutual sliding pushes up the recessed portion 7, so that an arm rest upper portion 5 is flicked out upwards and thus separated from an arm rest lower portion 4. |
