A liquid supplying apparatus for supplying a liquid to a liquid ejecting section that is configured to eject the liquid is provided with a tank 9A configured to contain the liquid, and an indicator 33A in communication with the tank 9A and having one end that is exposed to air, the indicator 33A further having a container portion 151 through which the liquid inside the indicator 33A can be viewed.
