<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent energy due to elastic deformation of friction material of a brake pad from accumulating in the pad and prevent excessive stick-slip phenomena from being generated in the brake pad and a rotor by letting pulsate brake force at fixed frequency in operating the brake. SOLUTION: Hydraulic pressure generated in a master cylinder 3 flows in a wheel cylinder 6 to operate a brake, and when a brake pedal 1 is stepped on, the condition is input from a brake switch 1a to an electronic control device 8 to operate the piezoelectric element 4c of an exciting device 4, and vibration of frequency non-sensible for a person is given to a piston 4b. Accordingly, brake oil in a liquid chamber 4d pulsates by the piston 4b to be transmitted to wheel cylindes 6, 7, the brake pad pulsates to prevent the energy from accumulating in the pad. Hereby an excessive stick-slip phenomenon can be restrained, and brake noise can be prevented from generating.</p> |
