SOLUTION: Relating to the air cleaning filter 1, an inorg. material layer is formed by sticking manganese oxide powder and/or permanganate powder and alkali metal carbonate powder and/or alkali earth metal carbonate powder on the surface of a supporting body 12 by using the org. powder having 15-300Åfine pore size and >=0.3 cc/g fine pore volume as a binder.
