<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor, wherein mounting is made in a state in which the protective film surface side faces printed board is surely enabled and the reduction of weight and improvement of heat radiation effect are achieved. SOLUTION: A resistance film 3 is arranged in the central part of the surface of an insulating board 1 and is covered with a protective film 9, terminal electrodes 14 are arranged on the right and the left end portions of the insulating board 1, primary electrodes 2 out of the terminal electrodes 14 are arranged on the right and the left side parts of the surface of the insulating board 1 respectively, in a state in which the primary electrodes 2 are in continuity with the resistance film 3, and a chip-type resistor is constituted. In this case, the protective film 9 is formed over the whole region of the lateral width of the insulating board 1 in a state in which the surface of the protective film 9 is flat, and covers a pair of the primary electrodes 2, 2. Hole members 10 are formed on the central parts of the right and the left side parts of the protective film 9 in a state in which the hole members 10 reach the primary electrodes 2. Auxiliary electrodes 11 are arranged to the right and the left side parts of the surface of the protective film 9 in a state in which the parts of the auxiliary electrodes 11 are accommodated in the hole members 10.</p> |
