PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the work load of a CPU for a display processing and to reduce the size of the device. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an inputting section 11, which receives display information including character codes, display position information and character size information, a first address generating section 12, which generates a first address group corresponding to a received character code employing a prescribed conversion rule, a font data storage section 14, which beforehand stores font data in a region that is specified by the first address group and outputs the stored font data to the region specified by the group when the group is given, a second address generating section 13, which generates a second address group that indicates the position where outputted font data are to be extended by using the received display position information, a font data extending section, which extends the outputted font data in the region indicated by the generated second address group and temporarily stores the data, and an outputting section which outputs the font data. |
