<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a stand-by time of a material to be dried before drying by predrying the material before primarily drying and charged in a predryer with a hot gas by utilizing the hot gas exhausted from a dryer. SOLUTION: The dryer 3 dries a material 1 to be dried by hot gas of a high temperature, and simultaneously introduces the hot gas exhausted from the dryer 3 to a predryer 5 through an exhaust gas introducing tube 7, and predries the material 1 in the predryer 5. That is, the material 1 dehydrated after washing to be next primarily dried is predried by the predryer 5 while drying in the dryer 3. When the material 1 in the dryer 3 is dried, the drier 3 is stopped, the predryer 5 is also stopped in cooperation with the stopping, then the primarily dried material 1 is externally discharged from a rear portion of a rotary drum 13.</p> |
