PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weak pin breakage detection device and system capable of preventing an erroneous detection caused by disadvantageous state at a cable and the like and capable of improving its maintainability.SOLUTION: A weak pin breakage detection device 15 detects breakage of a weak pin 14 arranged at a guide vane mechanism for adjusting water supplied from a pressure pipe to a water turbine. The weak pin breakage detection device comprises a proximity switch 42 for detecting breakage of the weak pin 14, a wireless module 43 for transmitting information indicating the result of detection of the proximity switch 42 with wireless signal, a power supply unit 45 for supplying electric power to the proximity switch 42 and the wireless module 43 and a storing member [such as a cover cradle 41 and a cover 46] storing the proximity switch 42, the wireless module 43 and the power supply unit 45 and fixed to the weak pin 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
