PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater weld repairing method which is not necessary to create an aerial space, and can carry out repair work by welding while saving a space under water.SOLUTION: A repaired part 14 is covered with a backing plate 21, and a lining plate 12 is grounded. A disc-like electrode 22 is pressed to the backing plate 21 and the disc-like electrode 22 is rotated with respect to a first welded part 26 set so as to surround the repaired part 14 on an inner side of an outer circumferential edge of the backing plate 21, and the disc-like electrode 22 is energized to generate resistance heat between the lining plate 12 and the backing plate 21 and carry out seam welding for continuously joining the lining plate 12 and the backing plate 21. Thereby, the repaired part 14 is separated from an underwater environment. |
