The invention relates to a fin adjustment mechanism for pivoting a ship fin from a first position into a second position. More particularly, the invention relates to a fin adjustment mechanism by means of which a fin or rudder provided for roll reduction of a ship can be actuated. The fin adjustment mechanism of the invention is characterised by an actuator unit comprising an adjustment spindle and an adjustment nut located thereon, the adjustment spindle and the adjustment nut being coupled to one another by planetary rollers, so that the adjustment spindle and the adjustment nut can be reversibly displaced axially relative to one another by effecting a relative rotation between the adjustment spindle and the adjustment nut, the relative rotation being effected by an electric motor that is integrated into the actuator unit. |
