PURPOSE: A coherent relay device using a frequency synthesizer is provided to transmit a high frequency signal having a constant frequency ratio on a demodulated carrier after demodulating a receipt signal by demodulating a carrier by tracking the received signal by using a frequency synthesizer consisting of a frequency divider and a phase locked loop which can be integrated and used even at a variety of transmit/receipt frequency ratio. CONSTITUTION: A coherent relay device includes a plurality of amplifiers(201,203,206,216), a voltage controlled oscillator(210), a plurality of frequency multipliers(211,212,213), a plurality of frequency converters(202,205) and a plurality of band pass filters(204,207,215). The coherent relay device outputs a transmittance signal of a frequency proportional to the frequency of a receipt signal. A plurality of the amplifier amplify with multiple stages the receipt signal. The voltage controlled oscillator oscillates the transmittance signal of the frequency corresponding to an input signal. A plurality of frequency multipliers multiply the output signal of the voltage controlled oscillator. A plurality of the frequency converters convert with multiple stages the frequency of the receipt signal by receiving an amplified signal by stage and the output signal of the frequency multipliers. A plurality of the band pass filters output only a signal of a predetermined frequency band by filtering a signal converted on the frequency with stages. Each frequency multiplier includes a first dividing unit dividing the input signal and a voltage controlled oscillation unit oscillating a voltage signal of a frequency corresponding to the divided input signal.
