HUB OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MULTIPLE DISK CLUTCH, AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub of automatic transmission multiple disk clutch which has accuracy and strength and its manufacture. SOLUTION: A clutch pack 10 has a shaft 21, a clutch casing 22, a spline 23, a snap ring 24, a backing plate 25, an O-ring, a return spring 27, a friction plate 31, a separator plate, a piston 33, hub 40, a spline 41, a sprag contact surface 42 of a hub, and a one-way clutch 50. In this case, because the outer side part 46 of the hub near the spline 41 requires high accuracy and the outer ring part 45 of the one-way clutch near the sprag contact surface 42 requires high strength, density of the outer ring part 45 is set higher than that of the outer side part 46. As manufacturing method, the entire hub 40 is molded by sintering, only the outer ring part 45 is casted or the outer ring part 45 is casted as a separate body, and the outer ring part is connected with the outer side part 46 formed by sintering.
