The invention provides an expansion valve ensuring excellent assembling property of a combination valve enabling two valve portions to be linked; the expansion valve (1) comprises: a valve body (2), and a valve hole (18) is formed in a deep portion of a mounting hole (32) with a side opening; a valve seat forming member (40) inserted and fixed in the valve body (2) through the opening portion of the mounting hole (32), and a valve hole (22) coaxial with the valve hole (18) is formed in penetration; a valve core (38) configured in a valve box (28) formed between the valve hole (18) and the valve seat forming member (40), and the valve core (38) can connect with/disconnect from the valve hole (18) so as to open/close a first valve portion; a valve core (44) configured on a valve box (30), formed opposite to the valve box (28), of the valve seat forming member (40), and the valve core (44) can connect with/disconnect from the valve hole (22) so as to open/close a second valve portion, and the valve core (44) is provided with a shaft portion (46) penetrating the valve hole (22), extending and abutting against the valve core (38); a spring (52) giving potential energy to the valve core (44) in a valve-closing direction; and an anti-dropping mechanism capable of preventing the valve core (44) from dropping to the opening portion of the mounting hole (32) when the spring (52) is assembled in middle front side of the valve body (2). |
