PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for performing optimal control to a curl which occurs in a sheet, and for, even when a reverse curl occurs, performing optimal decal control or fixing temperature control to the reverse curl.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (1) for forming an image in a recording medium (P), and for performing correction processing by a correction part (44) which corrects deformation which occurs in the recording medium during the formation processing by correction processing including partial heating or/and pressurization with a variable amount of correction, and for ejecting the recording medium (P) includes: a heat detection part (45) for detecting the temperatures of a plurality of predetermined sites of the recording medium just after ejection; and a control part (5) composed of a calculation part (53) for calculating a temperature distribution information group on the predetermined surface of the recording medium on the basis of the temperatures of the plurality of predetermined sites and a storage part (52) for storing a reference temperature distribution information group, and configured to control the amount of correction by the correction part on the basis of a difference between the reference temperature distribution information group (reference temperature change) stored in the storage part and the temperature distribution information group (temperature change) calculated by the calculation part. |
