<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage to upper heater caused by the sticking of molten metal and oxides thereto by extensively surrounding the outer circumference of upper heaters to be fitted to the back face of a cover on the upper part of the tank to heat molten metal in the tank, by tubes made of ceramics. SOLUTION: Plural upper heaters 19 for heating the molten metal of metal such as aluminum, zinc, copper or the like housed in a filtering chamber of a filtering tank are orrizontally provided. Both edges of the upper heater 19 are hold by a sleeve 21 with a collar formed from an insulating ceramic having thickness of several mm, a tube 20 made of ceramics is fitted to the outer circumference of the sleeve 21 with a collar, and a gap 22 of several mm is formed on the space between the outer circumference of the upper heater 19 and the tube 20 made of ceramics. Further, on both sides of the tube 20 made of ceramics, a laminated tube 23 of a multiplayer structure obtd. by subjecting ceramic fibers to compression molding to a high density is held by a protecting tube 24.</p> |
