摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently automate the division of a cathode-ray tube, and to facilitate separating reproducing processing after dismantling by arranging a high frequency heating means and a means to splice either one among a metallic wire, a metallic plate and a metallic frame body of the cathode-ray tube, and constituting so as to apply a thermal shock to the cathode-ray tube from this metallic member. SOLUTION: First of all, a cathode-ray tube 1 mounted on a carrying pallet is sent to a dividing work device part of the cathode-ray tube. Afterwards, the cathode-ray tube is rotated at a constant speed. Next, A V-shaped groove is formed by pressing a diamond cutter to the vicinity of a frit part of the cathode-ray tube while rotating it. It is sent to a cathode-ray tube dividing device of a station by stopping rotation of the cathode-ray tube 1 after V- recessing. Next, in a CRT dividing wire 11, the dividing wire 11 is brought into close contact with the cathode-ray tube by sandwiching the four corner parts of the cathode-ray tube 1 through the cathode ray tube 1. Next, the dividing wire is heated to 350 to 500 deg.C. The cathode-ray tube 1 is divided into a panel part 1b and a funnel part 1a by this heating operation.</p>
