PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intrusion of cooling water from an exhaust pipe into an engine flowing down from the engine to an oil pan. SOLUTION: The exhaust structure of an outboard engine includes an engine support 12 fixed in a casing 10 for supporting an engine, an oil pan 29 attached below the engine support in the casing, an exhaust pipe 30 attach to penetrate the oil pan, a space 40 formed between the oil pan and the exhaust pipe and a cooling water passage 33b connected to the space. The lower end of the exhaust pipe 30 is arranged to be roughly coincident with the surface of the bottom wall 29b of the oil pan 29 or positioned above the bottom wall 29b of the same, or an idle exhaust hole is formed in the vicinity or the bottom wall of the oil pan above a reference water level. |
