PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a toner for electrostatic charge image development achieving both of good low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property, having excellent charge stability and charge rising property, and suppressing toner scattering, and to provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development obtained by the above production method.SOLUTION: A production method of a core-shell type toner for electrostatic charge image development includes the following steps (1) to (5). Step (1): Resin particles (A) comprising a crystalline polyester (a) and release agent particles comprising a release agent are mixed. Step (2): A flocculant is dropped onto the mixture obtained in the step (1), at a temperature equal to or higher than 0°C and equal to or lower than a temperature lower by 10°C than the melting point of the crystalline polyester (a). Step (3): The mixture with the dropped flocculant is held at a temperature equal to or higher than a temperature lower by 7°C than the melting point of the crystalline polyester (a) and equal to or lower than a temperature higher by 7°C than the melting point of the crystalline polyester (a) to obtain flocculated particles (1). Step (4): Resin particles (C), which comprise a graft polymer composed of a main chain segment (A1) comprising a polyester resin and a side-chain segment comprising an addition polymerization resin, are added to the flocculated particles (1) to obtain flocculated particles (2). Step (5): The flocculated particles (2) are fused to obtain core-shell particles. |
