PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and components thereof, in which a generation rate of fuel gas can be adjusted automatically in accordance with power consumption, operability in loading a cartridge is improved and a problem of fuel gas generation prior to activation is unlikely to occur.SOLUTION: A fuel cell body 10 comprises: a power generation cell 11 which performs power generation; a cell holder 12 which forms an internal space together with the power generation cell 11; a check valve 13 which is connected to the internal space; a fuel gass supply port 14 which is communicated to the internal space; and a first opening 15a and a second opening 15b which are communicated to each other by a communication path 15. A fuel gas supply cartridge 20 includes: a reaction liquid storage part 21; a fuel generation part 22 in which a fuel gas generating agent 22a is stored; a reaction liquid discharge port 23 for discharging a reaction liquid from the reaction liquid storage part 21 to the outside; a reaction liquid supply port 24 for supplying a reaction liquid 21a to the fuel generation part 22; and a fuel discharge port 25 for discharging fuel gas from the fuel generation part 22. |
