PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a technology capable of maintaining a stable support state for long time even if an optical fiber preform is rotated in high speed, while preventing the optical fiber preform support tool from failure due to heat transmission from a rotation device with the optical preform support tool mounted, by alleviating heat of the optical fiber preform support tool.SOLUTION: An optical fiber spinning device, a preform support tool and a spinning method include a heating furnace 30 for performing thermofusion of the optical fiber preform 1, the optical fiber preform support tool 20 and its rotation device 30. The preform support tool 20 includes a rotation shaft 21 and a chuck part 22 for fixing the optical fiber preform 1 under the rotation shaft 21. The chuck part 22 includes a collet 23 in which a diameter deformable deformation cylinder part 23b extends from a sleeve form end part 23a, and a whole inner face of the sleeve form end part 23a of the collet 23 is arranged inside separated from virtual extention of inner hole of a cylinder part 21c under the rotation shaft 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
