PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply producing an output which can be stabilized for a predetermined time interval even if there is an interruption of an AC commercial power supply. SOLUTION: The power supply comprises a power supply circuit section 3 for feeding a load 13 with power when power is being fed from an AC commercial power supply 7, a battery module 2 for feeding the load 13 with power when power is being fed from the AC commercial power supply 7, a charge/ discharge switching circuit section 5 between a charge loop R1 for charging the battery module 2 during power supply from the AC commercial power supply 7 and a discharge loop R2 for supplying power from the battery module 2 to the load 13 during power interruption, and an AC input monitor circuit 4 for monitoring the AC commercial power supply 7 to detect interruption thereof and providing the charge/discharge switching circuit section 5 with a signal for switching to the discharge loop R2 side. |
