The clicking step comprises user actuating one of the transducers (16, 17, 38A, 39B, 66, 422A, 704A) more rapidly; user actuating a manual switch (372, 550, 551); user actuating a sound pressure switch (432); user actuating a voice recognition IC (394), or user actuating an another switching device (384).

A method for controlling rotational speeds of first and second motors comprises: a) selectively inputting X and Y transducers, the X and Y transducers being coupled to a common mechanical linkage, the selective inputting being accomplished by a single manipulation of the common mechanical linkage and resulting in separate electrical signals produced by the X and Y transducers, the separate electrical signals respectively representing one forward/reverse-related signal and a separate one left/right-related signal; b) producing X and Y electrical outputs separately proportional to said selective inputting step, the X and Y electrical outputs being associated respectively with a forward/reverse control signal and a left/right control signal; c) proportioning a first of said electrical outputs related to a forward/reverse signal as an inverse function of a second of said electrical outputs related to a left/right signal, while the second of said electrical outputs is not an inverse function of the first of said electrical outputs, whereby forward/reverse signal is modified as a function of left/right signal while left/right signal is not modified as a function of forward/reverse signal; and d) rotating one of said electrical motors as a function of said proportioning step.
