<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the video recording of an objective program even through the broadcasting time is changed by comparing a program code included in the broadcasting signal read out by a code detecting device with a program code of the video recording program desired to reserve and starting the video recording from the time when both codes match with each other. SOLUTION: A key panel 4 is operated by a user to input a program code, and the inputted program code is stored in a code storage part 10. The program code is read out by the code detector 3 from character broadcasting data of a signal received in a tuner circuit 2 and outputted to a CPU 5. The program code stored in the code storage part 10 of a RAM 7 and the program code outputted from the code detector 3 are continuously compared by the CPU 5 in accordance with a code comparing program 11 in a ROM 8. When these program codes match with each other, the start of video recording is instructed to a VTR device by the CPU 5 unless the video recording is in process. When the program codes do not match with each other, the video recording is stopped by the CPU 5.</p> |
