The present invention discloses a mold core for manufacturing a container closure comprising a plurality of slides (11, 12), a sleeve (13) placed over the plurality of slides (11, 12), a slide seat (14) on which the plurality of slides (11, 12) are mounted, and a cam device (15) arranged inside a space defined by the plurality of slides (11, 12). The plurality of slides (11, 12) comprise a plurality of first independent slides (11) and a plurality of second independent slides (12), wherein each of the first independent slides (11) and each of the second independent slides (12) are configured to be individually mounted on and individually detached from the slide seat (14); and wherein axial movement of the sleeve (13) relative to the first independent slides (11) and the second independent slides (12) effects application of radial force onto the first independent slides (11) and the second independent slides (12) successively, so as to cause successive inward movement of the first independent slides (11) and of the second independent slides (12) within the sleeve (13). |
