Provided are a color filter provided with an electrostatic capacitive touch sensing electrode having excellent heat resistance and resistivity, whereby manufacturing process overhead can be reduced, and a liquid crystal display which uses the color filter. The color filter is provided with a transparent substrate and an electroconductive alloy film comprising an alloy of copper and nickel or an alloy of copper, nickel, and titanium on at least one surface of the transparent substrate. The liquid crystal display is provided with the color filter, a liquid crystal layer, and a TFT substrate. |
