The present invention relates to a cover window substrate and, more specifically, to a cover window substrate and an image display device comprising the same, the cover window comprising an organic/inorganic hybrid hard coating layer on at least one surface of a polymer base film, and satisfying a pencil hardness of 4H or higher under a load of 1kg, thereby significantly reducing the occurrence of warpage of the substrate under severe conditions of high temperature and high humidity so as to implement excellent durability and optical characteristics when applied to a product, and achieve excellent anti-finger print performance of a surface.
