A wireless communication system which makes it possible to switch between downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) during TDD for each transmission time interval (TTI), wherein the low delay method thereof is further improved. To this end, this user terminal to be used in a wireless communication system capable of switching between DL and UL for each TTI has a receiving unit for receiving a DL signal during a DL TTI, and a transmission unit for transmitting a UL signal in a UL TTI, and is characterized in that different TTI lengths are assigned to the DL TTI and to the UL TTI.
