Provided is an ultrasonic image display apparatus that allows for easy and reliable puncture of a subject with a puncture needle. The ultrasonic image display apparatus determines the insertion angle of a puncture needle 6 at a puncture guide attachment. A first guide line 65 indicating the direction of travel of the puncture needle 6 is displayed on a first cross-sectional image 8 and a second guide line 66 indicating a path of travel of the puncture needle 6 at the insertion angle is displayed on a second cross-sectional image 9. On the basis of the insertion angle of the puncture needle 6, depth positions at which the tip 71 of the puncture needle 6 appears in the first cross-sectional image 8 and the second cross-sectional image 9 are predicted, and a horizontal line 67 and a guide mark 68 indicating the positions to an operator in advance are displayed. |
