A color gamut display processing method and a display device. The color gamut display processing method comprises the following steps: a display device receives an input image and then saves the image into a frame buffer of a main window body of the display device (S101); set a sub-window body displayed in a display area of the main window body, and copy the image in the frame buffer of the main window body into a frame buffer of the sub-window body (S102); and update the image in the frame buffer of the main window body to an image obtained by display control processing via a screen controller, output the image in the frame buffer of the sub-window body and the updated image in the frame buffer of the main window body to a screen, and compare the images (S103). The good and bad screen color gamut display effects of the display device can be conveniently distinguished, and the operation is simple and convenient. |
