The invention relates to a warhead (1) comprising an explosive filling (2) placed within a shell (3) and means for initiating (4) the explosive filling arranged at a first end of the filling. This warhead (1) is characterized in that the explosive filling (2) has, at the second end thereof, a concave interface on which a layer (6) of a synthetic material is applied that provides a seal. The shell (3) comprises means (8, 10) for attaching, removably and at the theatre of operations, at least one coating (9a) and for keeping said coating in contact with the layer (6) of synthetic material. The invention also relates to a modular defense system implementing such a warhead. |
