A resource request method, comprising: receiving an invoking request sent by a first multimedia system in a heterogeneous multimedia system and used for invoking a multimedia resource of a second multimedia system, wherein the heterogeneous multimedia system comprises the first multimedia system and the second multimedia system; under the trigger of the invoking request, transcoding the multimedia resource according to a transcoding format required by the first multimedia system; and sending the transcoded multimedia resource to the first multimedia system. By means of the technical solution, the problem in the related art that intercommunication between heterogeneous multimedia systems cannot be achieved is solved, so that interconversion of multimedia resources and control signalling can be achieved between a plurality of multimedia systems (heterogeneous multimedia systems), thereby achieving intercommunication between the heterogeneous multimedia systems. |
