Disclosed are an information pushing method and apparatus. One particular embodiment of the method comprises: receiving, via a prediction server end, a user identifier of a terminal user sent by an application server end; searching out extension information about the terminal user according to the user identifier, wherein the extension information is acquired from a terminal; based on the extension information and a pre-trained prediction model, generating a predicted value for each piece of information to be presented, wherein the predicted value comprises a probability value for the terminal user performing an operation on each piece of information to be presented; and returning the predicted value to the application server end, so that the application server end selects, based on a ranking result of the various predicted values, at least one piece of information to be presented and pushes the information to be presented to the terminal user. The embodiment can improve the pertinence of user information pushing. |
