Disclosed are a supporting device for a flexible display device and a flexible display. The supporting device comprises a skeleton chain (101) linked by a plurality of skeleton units, wherein each skeleton unit comprises a head (1011) and a tail (1012) connected with each other; the head (1011) has a first rotating surface (201) which is a cylindrical surface or a spherical surface; the tail (1012) comprises a cavity which has a second rotating surface (202); the first rotating surface (201) has a radius greater than that of the second rotating surface (202); and the second rotating surface (202) wraps around a part of the first rotating surface (201) of an adjacent skeleton unit, so that the head (1011) of the adjacent skeleton unit cooperates with the cavity of the tail (1012) and can rotate relative to the cavity. |
