A screen activation method, device and electronic equipment. The method comprises: when a display screen of electronic equipment is turned off, detecting a first pressure corresponding to a pressing operation and applied on a touch screen of the electronic equipment, wherein the display screen comprises a first area and a second area; when the first pressure exceeds or equals a predefined pressing operation threshold, displaying, according to a first display characteristic, on the first area of the display screen, first screen data, and keeping the second area to remain in a turn-off state or displaying a black screen in the second area, wherein the first display characteristic at least comprises display brightness. In the embodiment, the display screen is partially lit up by pressing the touch screen and displays information of interest for a user to view the same without lighting up the display screen completely, being simple to operate, and reducing a power consumption issue resulting from full screen display. |
