WATERPROOF STRUCTURE OF HYDRAULIC CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: To improve waterproof characteristics of a damper as well as a reservoir having its opening at a side of a hydraulic controller housing. CONSTITUTION: A reservoir 19 is provided with a chamber 48 which is communicated with the atmosphere and closed with a plug member 46 and a sealing member 50. A cover 32 to be coupled with a side of the housing 31 is provided with an annular projection 32 which presses the outer circumferential part 501 of the sealing member 50 against the housing 31 and the plug member 46 to fix the same and a recess part 329 facing the tip of a vent pipe 50 of the sealing member 50. A space 61 formed between the housing 31 and the cover 32 and communicated with the chamber 48 is communicated with the atmosphere through a drain path 64 formed between a flange 328 formed by bending the lower end of the cover 32 and the lower surface of the housing 31.
