PURPOSE: To provide optimal responsiveness and stability of a throttle valve according to the operating condition of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In an ECU 10, feed back control for a DC motor 12 is carried out through a motor driving circuit 11 by PID control in a PID control circuit 10b so as to eliminate a deviation between a real throttle opening degreeθth which is calculated on the basis of the throttle opening signal TH of a throttle opening degree sensor 4 corresponding to the throttle opening degree of a throttle valve 3, and a throttle opening degree command valueγcmd which is calculated on the basis of the acceleration opening degree signal Ap of an acceleration opening degree sensor 6 according to the acceleration opening degree of an acceleration pedal. PID control constants Kp, Ti, Td in PID control are set according to the operating condition of a vehicle. It is thus possible to improve performance of a system.
