COATING COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: To obtain a coating composition readily preventing corrosion of concrete by coating for a long period of time by blending a specific polymeric resin binder with a specific amount of a non-yellowing type polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of a binder obtained by mixing (i) a hydroxyl group-containing polyester modified polydimethylsiloxane with (ii) a dimer acid modified epoxy resin in a weight ratio of the components (i/ii)=(10/90)-(80/20) with (B) 50-500 pts.wt. of a non- yellowing type polyisocyanate. As necessary, 100 pts.wt. of the composition may be blended with (C) 2-30 pts.wt. of a fibrous inorganic material having 0.01-5μm average fiber diameter, 1-300μm average fiber length and 23 aspect ratio (suitable example; alkali metal titanate fiber).
