Provided is a catalyst fixing device (1) for introducing a slurry inside a channel of a catalyst carrier (2). This catalyst fixing device (1) has: a stand (4) having an installation frame (3) to which the catalyst carrier (2) is connected; a sealing material (5) that surrounds a connection section of the catalyst carrier (2) and the installation frame (3); clamps (6)-(9) which bias the sealing material (5) in the catalyst carrier (2) direction; and a catalyst supply unit (10) that introduces in the catalyst carrier (2) a liquid (slurry) including a catalyst component. The catalyst carrier (2) is connected to the installation frame (3) and the sealing material (5) is compressed by the clamps (6)-(9). The slurry is introduced in the channel of the catalyst carrier (2) from the catalyst supply unit (10) after sealing the connection section of the catalyst carrier (2) and the installation frame (3) in a water-tight manner by compressing the sealing material (5).
