Disclosed are an Internet of Things communication method, a network side device and an Internet of Things terminal. In the present invention, a downlink data frame sent by a network side device comprises a traditional preamble, an HEW preamble and a data field; a subcarrier resource corresponding to the data field in a frequency domain comprises at least one resource unit (RU); the RU is used for sending a downlink IoT frame to the IoT terminal, wherein the downlink IoT frame comprises an IoT preamble and an IoT data field, and the IoT preamble is used for transmitting physical layer control information about the downlink IoT frame, and the IoT data field is used for transmitting downlink data between the network side device and the IoT terminal. The present invention enables a network side device of a WLAN to schedule an IoT terminal, so as to reduce a risk of collision in an IoT communication process. |
