Provided are a method and remote control system for prompting information when a hand gesture matches a channel grouping, said method comprising: recording a channel grouping preset by a user; recording a channel grouping matching a specific hand gesture; reading hand gesture information inputted by a user; detecting whether a channel grouping matching said hand gesture is present; if not, then remaining unchanged; if so, then invoking a channel grouping matching said hand gesture, and pushing patent information to the user. A channel grouping is combined with a personal feature (hand gesture), thus different users may invoke according to their personal features (hand gesture) a channel grouping they have set, so as to achieve rapid switchover between the channel groupings of different users, while the interests of the creator of the technology are fully protected at the same time. |
