The present invention relates to a hose adapter for connection to at least one hose section of a medical device. The invention further relates to a dialysate hose system having such a hose adapter, to a medical device having such a dialysate hose system, to a method for using the hose adapter according to the invention and to a method for preventing the occurrence of a pressure below a minimum pressure in a dialysate hose system.
